I am the founder and Director of the Java Hope Project www.javahope.org), a 501c3 organization. I also own PB Roasting Co. LLC. (www.pbroasting.com). I hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan. I have a passion for helping women emerge from poverty. As an impoverished kid growing up in the City of Detroit, I am deeply committed to help others escape the bondage of poverty through business opportunities and entrepreneurial training. As governments continue to reduce entitlement programs, the need for sustainable incomes is critical. The Java Hope Project is a pilot program helping women become self-sufficient by owning a coffee cart business.
